I love this bone, it tastes like chocolate! Nom nom nom, its tasty. It has lots of chew marks on it now!

Some videos showing what Blossom & I got up to while we were left on our own at home. She’s gone back to Ruth’s now so I’ve got the house and the humans back to myself. Yay.

I watched this Horizon TV program a few days ago all about the secret life of dogs, and I was very impressed by the dog that understands over 340 of your human words. I know 13. This blog is (obviously) written by translations of my thoughts – you didn’t think I actually type all this did you?

Anyway, here are my 13 words:

• Up – Stand up on my back legs like humans do. Stay standing up till I get a treat.
• Down – Get off things, like laps, or sofas, or beds.
• In – Go to my bed, or rug, or cage, or my favourite back of sofa place.
• Out – If I’m inside, it means run to the back door then go outside in the nasty cold garden to go to the loo. If I’m already outside it means go to the loo already.
• Roll-over – what it sounds like. I do it till I get fuss/a treat. It’s harder than it looks.
• Jump-up – Get up on the sofa, or the bed, or a lap.
• Sit – Plonk my bum on the ground. I get this and Lie-down confused though.
• Lie-down – Plonk my belly on the ground. I get this and Sit confused though.
• Hoover – EAT THE FOOD THEY DROPPED!!!!!! OMG SO EXCITING!!!!!!
• Walkies – YAY! Run to the front door and get my lead put on, it’s time to go out for a WALK!!
• Bad-dog – I don’t like this one, it means I was naughty and they’re upset. Not good.
• Good-girl – Happy times, I’ve been good. Sometimes I get a treat or a fuss when they say this one.
• Stay – Don’t go anywhere.

I thought the scientists were a bit stupid though. They had to do tests to prove that dogs and humans understand each other, and know when they’re upset and stuff? I already knew that, and loads of other people did too. Idiots.

It rocked. Blossom came to stay which was kind of annoying cos she ate some of my share of the Christmas dinner. But we got loads of treats and I’m still eating my way through them! If I had it my way I would have scoffed them all on Christmas morning but they said I’d be ill. SO WHAT?! It would have been worth it.. it’s FOOOOOD!!!!

So, this is what I have been reduced to. A stand for the ps3 controller. Oh well, at least I can sleep while I work!

While Mummy & Daddy are at work, I like to scour the house for things to play with (when I’m not sleeping, that is). I bring the stuff back to my self-designated play area to have fun with.

Lately I have found:

• A roll of poo bags which I like unrolling. Mummy rolls them back up but I like finding where she’s put them & bringing them back to unroll!
• My two bones, they are fun to knaw on.
• A crisp packet. I got this out the bin because I am investigative.
• A tissue Daddy used when he had a nosebleed. I ripped it up!
• A sandwich filler pot Mummy gave me – TUNA!!!!!!!
• A choccy mousse pot I stole from the sofa after Mummy went back to work after her lunch break.

My play area is directly at the bottom of the stairs. This is because it’s REALLY FUNNY when they trip/step on stuff when they’re trying to carry stuff up or down the stairs. Ahahahaha!!!

(And it tastes like mint sauce!)

Last night Mum & Dad had LAMB for dinner and DIDN’T GIVE ME ANY. Needless to say I was disappointed with these events. Don’t they know who I am?!?! When there are lamb burgers, I should have some too!

So, today while they were at work earning money to pay for more food for me, I decided to have my Revenge! Stupid Daddy had left the mint sauce on the table in the living room, so I decided to investigate this jar – the question in my mind being “is it edible?!”. After all, this is the most important questions at ALL times.

Unfortunately it isn’t. But I did wreak my revenge by getting the jar open & ruining it for their eating! Plus, I gave my lovely comfy Spot rug an extra spot!!!

I don’t think I like halloween. They dress me up.

I don’t really mind the cloak. Last year they used the matching hat too, but I’ve hidden it this year.

We get lots of visitors though! I get fussed a lot!!!! AND we went for a walk today, I got fussed then too.

Hmmm. Maybe I do like Halloween.

Or I’m a bad Dog? Nahhh!

Apparently it’s not ok when I chew all things plastic. But what else am I to do when Mummy and Daddy are working, I need to find entertainment for myself and chewing stuff often has the bonus of leading to food. It’s their stupid fault if they leave lunch boxes and things around. This is what mummy thinks. How am I to know if I’m allowed plastic things when they let me eat out of some of them!

On a side note, I decided to watch charmed today (I turned the TV on and everything). I liked it but Mummy turned it off when I got home.
